Privacy Policy

Last updated: 28 September 2026 · Deeplink Checker for iOS and iPadOS.

The short version. Deeplink Checker has no accounts and no server of its own. What you create in the app stays on your device and in your own iCloud, where I cannot see it. The app uses a few standard third-party services for crash reports, usage statistics, install attribution and purchases, listed below. This website sets no cookies and runs no analytics.

1. Who is responsible

Deeplink Checker ("the app") is made by Timur Demir, an independent developer in Berlin, Germany. I am the controller for the processing described here. Contact: .

2. Your data stays with you

Tests, links, runs, reports, domain checks, QR codes, screenshots you attach and your settings are stored on your device and, if you are signed in to iCloud, in the private iCloud database of your own Apple Account, under Apple's privacy policy. I have no access to this data. You can turn iCloud off for the app, or delete its iCloud data, in the iOS Settings app under your Apple Account › iCloud.

3. Network requests the app makes for you

To run a check, the app contacts the domain you enter and, for some checks, Apple's and Google's public link-verification services and the App Store lookup. Only the domain or app you are checking is sent, together with the ordinary technical details of any web request. These requests go directly from your device; I do not receive or store them.

4. Third-party services

The app includes the following services. Each receives standard technical data from your device, such as device model, OS version, app version, IP address and a random identifier, and processes it under its own privacy policy. None of them receives your tests, links, domains, reports or screenshots.

ServicePurpose
RevenueCat · privacy policyValidating Pro purchases and restores. Payment itself is handled by Apple.
Firebase (Google) · privacy policyCrash reports and anonymous usage statistics.
Adjust · privacy policyInstall attribution and anonymous counts of in-app actions. If you type a note into the in-app feedback prompt, that text is delivered to me through Adjust.

Legal bases are the contract with you (purchases), my legitimate interest in a stable app (crash reports, statistics, attribution) and your consent where the advertising identifier is used. Google and RevenueCat process data in the United States under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses.

5. Tracking

After the introduction screens, iOS asks whether the app may track you. If you allow it, the advertising identifier may be used to attribute the install to a campaign. If you do not, it is not used and the app works exactly the same. You can change this at any time in the iOS Settings app under Privacy & Security › Tracking. The app shows no advertisements and does not sell data.

6. Camera, photos and clipboard

The camera is used only to scan QR codes, on the device. Photo access is add-only, to save QR codes you create. The clipboard is read only when you tap a clipboard action.

7. Retention and deletion

Your content stays until you delete it in the app, delete the app, or remove its iCloud data; a lapsed subscription never deletes anything. Data held by the services above is kept for the periods stated in their policies.

8. Your rights

Under the GDPR you may request access to, correction or deletion of your personal data, object to or restrict its processing, and withdraw consent at any time. Since I hold no data that identifies you, most of this is done directly on your device as described above; for anything else, email me. You may also complain to a data protection supervisory authority.

9. Children and changes

The app is a developer tool and not directed at children under 16. I will update this page when the app's data practices change; the date at the top shows the last revision.
